Community AMR Symposium
The SAMRC-UNIVEN Research Unit organizes an annual symposium on the theme "Antimicrobial Resistance and the Community." The gathering brings together scientists, researchers, civic society, healthcare workers, policy and decision makers to share new data on antimicrobial resistance and knowledge translation strategies.
The symposium serves as a key platform for knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and community engagement — connecting laboratory findings with real-world health outcomes in the communities where IPGH conducts research.
World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week
IPGH actively participates in and organizes activities around World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW), held annually in November. IPGH uses this platform to translate research insights into community awareness campaigns and stewardship activities aligned with the Responsive Dialogue approach.
